How to create a test case in Mercury. From the series of posts around Mercury Test Director (I continue to call it this way because most people know it by this name, even though it’s now called HP Quality Center), I’m posting three screenshots to help you. But I say that one of the strengths we all have (or should have) as testers is that we are able to learn how a tool works in a matter of hours.
While working in our test lab today, I thought I would take some screenshots for people to see VMware vCloud Director first hand, not everyone will be at a stage ready to deploy into a test environment. Let me know if you find.
Testing your application using Microsoft Test Manager. Mercury Quality Centre is a web-based test management tool. It gives you a centralized control over the entire testing life cycle. It gives an easy interface to manage and organize activities like Requirements coverage, Test. TestRail is a comprehensive web-based test case management software to manage, track and organize software testing efforts. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the ultimate uninstaller for Windows, allowing you to uninstall programs quickly and completely using its simple and intuitive interface.
And this is what I also tell to recruiters who tell me they want somebody with this particular experience. There’s many testing tools out there. For a tester, using Mercury or DDTS Rational it’s the same thing. It’s not rocket science to learn how these tools work; having years of experience in using them for test case writing, execution and defect tracking should definitely NOT be a criteria for hiring. This link sends you to the Free downloads page, where you can download the Mercury screenshots. Feel free to pass on.**Other posts you may want to read: Will a test tool resolve your problems?
